I’ve been a bit behind in my blogging for 2011, mostly due to the fact that I’ve been writing for a myriad of other things some of them not only offline but even to be printed up in books. (No, I’m not writing a book, just offering a contribution for a book chapter on digital journalism.)

Although I’m sure that I will not keep up to this commitment, I’m going to start photo blogging again. I snapped this picture on my way out of the Hyde Park Corner tube station. One exit leads to the Waterloo Memorial, and as you exit, they have paintings explaining the key points in the battle plus these dramatic carvings in the cement walls. Quite a nice way to integrate art and history on the Underground.
